It’s our very first One Day Master Class with Tony Winner Lindsay Mendez, who returns to BAA this January!
Get to work on your materials one-on-one with Lindsay at the helm, discovering new paths to your voice and to the interpretation of your favorite audition songs. During this Master Class, participants will perform audition cuts and receive direct feedback and suggestions from the instructor.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Lindsay was most recently seen in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel on Broadway, for which she won the 2018 Tony Award for Best Supporting actress in a Musical! Lindsay received Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League nominations for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for her performance as Rose Fenny in the off-Broadway production of Dogfight. Additional Broadway credits include: Laura in Significant Other, Wicked (Elphaba), Godspell (Lindsay), Everyday Rapture (Mennonette), and Grease (Jan). Other off-Broadway credits include: Everyday Rapture and The Marvelous Wonderettes. Lindsay has also been part of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, The Trouble with Doug, 35MM, Footloose, Princesses, and Go the Distance.
One Day Master Classes are open to students ages 10-25, and class size is typically limited to 18 participants to ensure that each student receives personal attention from our special guest instructors. Enrollment will be closed two weeks prior to the Master Class date, or when the class becomes full – whichever comes first.
