What’s included?
Leading up to your Prescreen Express weekend:
BAA’s expert College Audition Coaching panel will schedule a private coaching with you to work on your songs, monologues, and personal statements. BAA’s Artistic Director, Jenifer Johns-Grasso will also host an online information session with students and parents covering the details of the college audition process. Do you have questions about the many requirements, deadlines, and best practices about auditioning for schools? Jennifer’s insight will leave you feeling confident and ready to tackle this unique audition process!
During your live Prescreen Express Weekend in New York City:
You will spend Saturday workshopping your songs and monologues with Bob Cline (Pace University Faculty, Bob Cline Casting) and Jennifer Johns-Grasso (Pace University, University of the Arts Faculty, Artistic Director and Founder of Broadway Artists Alliance, etc) to put the finishing touches on all of your material!
On Sunday, we will film your prescreens in increments of 90 minutes (45 minutes for monologues, 45 minutes for songs). You will receive an individual appointment time one week before the Sunday session. Sunday will be a partial day unless you would also like to add on the optional Dance Prescreen option (recommended!).

In addition to receiving private one-on-one coaching, you will work through your audition material (up to 3 songs and 3 monologues) in a mock audition setting for individualized feedback! Wear your prescreen audition outfit so that we can film your slates and test-shoot your material.
The goal of the day is to put finishing touches on all material to be filmed on the second day, and to be certain that all of your material meets the requirements of each school you are submitting to. Please bring your wardrobe options on BOTH days so that we can make sure they look great on camera. In addition, we will take time to lay down accompaniment tapes for rehearsal and future audition purposes, including Unified Auditions.
⭐ OPTIONAL ADD-ON: Dance Prescreens ($250)
For those who would like to learn and film an original dance combination, we will teach two combinations as a group in a master class. We will film both of these 1-minute combinations (which can be used for any dance prescreen), and any “required dance skills” and ballet barre for those participants who are in need of them for their individualized list of pre-screen schools.
