Taking the helm of our dance Master Class is the amazing Heather Parcells, of Broadway’s Tuck Everlasting, A Chorus Line, Wonderland and more! Learn how to nail your Broadway dance audition even when you don’t consider yourself to be a “dancer first”!
Dance from your own living room, and get ready to follow the steps and music of Heather, connecting with you, directly from NYC! (This class was originally scheduled to be taught by Tyrick Wiltez Jones)
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Heather Parcells is a triple threat with multiple Broadway credits, including Tuck Everlasting, A Chorus Line (Judy, original revival cast), Finding Neverland, Wonderland, Soul Doctor, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. National Tours: Thoroughly Modern Millie (Miss Dorothy), Some Like it Hot (Sweet Sue u/s), Chicago (Velma). Off-Broadway/NYC credits include: Piece of My Heart (Jesse Understudy), Meet Me in St. Louis (Esther), Mademoiselle Modiste (Fifi), Jungle Queen Debutante, Blood and Fire, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. TV credits include: Guiding Light and ABC Primetime’s The Human Chain. She has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars with Mario Lopez, and opened the 2007 Tony® Awards with A Chorus Line. Heather is a graduate of Florida State University and regularly teaches dance and audition master classes all over the country.
Your BAA application fee will be waived if you are interested in only attending One Day Master Classes. You will see the waiver option at the end of the Online Application (which you will still need to complete!)
Online One Day Master Classes are open to ages 10-25.
Class size is typically limited to 12 participants to ensure that each student receives personal attention from our special guest instructors. Enrollment will be closed when the class reaches capacity.
