Half-Day Master Class with a Tony Award-Winning Guest Artist

Date: Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 Time: 12:00PM-4:00PM Location: Ripley Grier Studios Tuition: $175.00 Recommended Ages: 10-21 (we will consider younger applicants ages 8-10 for this class if they have already auditioned for BAA and have permission from the Artistic Director)

Participants in this Master Class will have the opportunity to perform for a Tony Award-winning guest instructor! Students should prepare two contrasting 16-32 bar songs, and bring sheet music with them that is clearly marked for the accompanist. Students should also bring three copies of their headshot and resume. This class will be led by two-time Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris! Michael Cerveris won Tony Awards for his performances in Fun Home and Assassins! His other Broadway credits include Evita, In the Next Room, Hedda Gabler, Cymbeline, Lovemusik, Sweeney Todd, Titanic, and The Who’s Tommy.

One Day Master Classes are open to students ages 10-21, and class size is typically limited to 18 participants to ensure that each student receives personal attention from our special guest instructors. Enrollment will be closed two weeks prior to the Master Class date, or when the class becomes full – whichever comes first. Instructors for each class are typically announced 3-4 weeks prior to the class.
