Ruthie Ann Miles
(Actress) won a 2015 Tony® Award for her portrayal of Lady Thiang in Broadway’s The King and I. She was most recently seen on Broadway as Frieda/Betty in the revival of Sunday in the Park With George, co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Annaleigh Ashford. She reprised her Tony Award winning turn as Lady Thiang in the West End production of The King and I, and also recently performed as Svetlana in the Kennedy Center’s concert staging of Chess. Ruthie Ann is also known for originating the role of Imelda Marcos in off-Broadway’s Here Lies Love, written by David Byrne w/DJ Fat Boy Slim, for which she received both the Lucille Lortel Award and Theatre World Award.
