Sutton Foster
(Actress) has won two Tony® Awards for best actress for her performances as Millie Dilmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Reno Sweeney in the Broadway revival of Anything Goes. Currently she is starring in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd as Mrs. Lovett. Other Broadway performances include Marian Paroo starring alongside Hugh Jackman in the revival of The Music Man, Jo March in Little Women (Tony® Award nomination), Janet Van de Graaf in The Drowsy Chaperone (Tony® Award nomination), Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, Violet Karl in Violet, Sandy Dumbrowski in Grease, Inga in Young Frankenstein, Eponine in Les Misérables, the 20th anniversary of Annie, and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Sutton headlined the New Group’s off-Broadway production of Sweet Charity and she can also be seen as Liza in the hit TV Land comedy, Younger. Other TV credits include starring as Michelle in ABC’s Bunheads, Law & Order: SVU, Disney’s Johnny and the Sprites, and HBO’s The Flight of the Conchords. Besides being featured in many cast recordings, Sutton has released her own solo albums, Take Me To the World, Wish, and An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Café Carlyle.
