Susan Blackwell
(Actress/Writer) most recently played the role of Arlene in the film The Comedian. She made her Broadway debut as Susan in [title of show] and also performed in the Actors’ Fund Broadway concert version of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Off-Broadway credits include Gone Missing (Encores! Off-Center Production), Now. Here. This. (Writer/Performer), [title of show] (Writer/Performer), The Kid, Speech and Debate, Anon, Working Title, Vilna’s Got a Golem, The Heidi Chronicles (Peter Patrone). Susan starred in the world premiere of Volleygirls at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. TV appearances include: Master of None, The Character’s, Dangerous Liaisons, Smash, The Sopranos, Third Watch, All My Children and various Law & Orders. Film: A Most Violent Year, Birdman, PS: I Love You, Margot at the Wedding, Bun Bun, Changing Lanes, Night. As co-creator of the duo variety act the New Wondertwins, she performed in such venues as Dixon Place, Caroline’s Comedy Club and the HBO Workspace in L.A.
