Mamie Parris
(Actor) is known for having starred as Grizabella in the Broadway revival of Cats, where she performed her one-of-a-kind rendition of the song “Memory.” Her Broadway credits include School of Rock (Closing: Rosalie and Opening: Patty), On the Twentieth Century, Ragtime, 110 in the Shade, The Drowsy Chaperone (u/s Kitty and u/s Janet), and First You Dream: A Tribute to Courage. Her off-Broadway credits include Fat Kid Rules the World, Anything Can Happen in the Theater: The Songs of Maury, Pump Boys and Dinettes, The Roar of the Greasepaint- The Smell of the Crowd, and Stop! Look! Listen!. Her National Tour credits include 9 to 5: The Musical (Judy), Legally Blonde (u/s Paulette, u/s Vivienne), and the First National Tour of Wicked (Elphaba). Her film and TV credits include The Blacklist, State of Affairs, A Standup Guy, and PBS Great Performances “50 Years of Broadway’s Best”.
