Christopher Jackson
(Actor/Music Director/Lyricist) is currently a part of the rotating cast of Freestyle Love Supreme on Broadway, and can be seen in the CBS show Bull. He also is well known as the original George Washington in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton, for which he was nominated for a 2016 Tony Award. Other Broadway credits include Holler If Ya Hear Me (Vertus), Memphis (Delray), In the Heights (Benny, Drama Desk Award winner), The Lion King (Simba), Bronx Bombers (Derek Jeter), After Midnight. Off-Broadway: Working, The Jammer, Lonely, I’m Not, Patience, Candide. Regional credits:Comfortable Shoes (2003 Jefferson Award nomination, Black Theater Alliance Award nomination), Beggar’s Holiday (2005 BATC nomination). Television credits: A Gifted Man, White Collar, Nurse Jackie, Gossip Girl, Fringe, Oz, Guiding Light. Mr. Jackson was also the co-music director/head lyricist for the 2009 PBS production of The Electric Company, and has written and composed music for Sesame Street. He has a solo album, In the Name of Love, with Yellow Sound Label.
