(Actress) has been in the original Broadway casts of In the Heights, Dancin’, Funny Girl, Hadestown (Workers’ Chorus, u/s Persephone) Summer (Michael/Maid/’To Turn the Stone’ Soloist, Ensemble, u/s Disco Donna), Shuffle Along, or, the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed (Jazz Jasmine), and Ghost the Musical (Ensemble, u/s Clara, Louise). Her other Broadway credits include Soul Doctor (Dance Captain), Motown the Musical (Ensemble, Dance Captain replacement), and Wicked. She also appeared in the National Tour ensemble of Hamilton as part of the Angelica Company. Afra was also a Radio City Rockette for seven years, and you can see her on TV in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Fosse/Verdon starring Sam Rockwell and Michelle Wiliams, Boardwalk Empire (Onyx Dancer), Curb Your Enthusiasm (Hamilton ensemble), The Detour (B.Frank ensemble), Mozart In the Jungle, and Saturday Night Live.
