Taking place in February, during President’s Day holiday Weekend, the Winter Workshop is perfect program for students who want to build or brush up on their audition and performance technique. You will have the opportunity to attend advanced Master Classes in your BAA Major (Voice, Acting, or Dance) and choose from among over 30 electives classes to develop your “triple threat” talents! Prior to your arrival, you will work with a personal BAA Student Advisor who specializes in your Major and who will assist you with your program material preparations.

As a Winter Workshop student, you will receive a private coaching in your Major, receive one on one feedback in each of your master classes taught by Broadway performers, and participate in a special Q&A session with a SURPRISE BROADWAY guest! Just as with the BAA Summer Intensives, the Winter Workshop culminates in an Industry Showcase, where you will perform both a group number and a solo piece in your Major for NYC’s top casting directors, agents, and managers, receiving individualized feedback!

2027 Winter Workshop in NYC add-on: Broadway show night! 

As an optional add-on event, BAA offers Winter Workshop students and their families the chance to attend a Broadway evening performance during the visit to New York. Stay tuned, as we’ll announce the 2027 Winter Workshop optional Broadway shows in the Fall!
