Mimi’s Coaching Philosophy

We all know that the world of Broadway is centered around creative people – people who are imaginative, passionate, and artistic. But the entertainment industry is also filled with people who understand business – and the savviest performers have learned to see themselves as both artists AND business professionals. I want to help you find that balance and set you on a path to creative fulfillment AND industry success! In my coaching sessions, we will go over your goals and make a plan to achieve them with practical, constructive steps. I will help you revise your resume, choose the best headshot, build your book with music and monologues, and understand your particular “habits” as a performer – and how to bring a sense of ease and truth into your auditions. In addition, I can answer any questions regarding the ins and outs of the business: how do I book professional work? Do I need an agent or a manager? How do I get one? What is going on?!? I will help give you and your family the tools to understand this industry so that you can walk into any room, meeting, or audition with confidence.
