Mimi is on the Education and Administrative staff of Broadway Artists Alliance. She holds a BA in Drama from the University of Virginia, where she focused on acting while also exploring her love of dramatic writing and directing for the stage and screen. Mimi has performed in an array of shows around her University, Northern Virginia, and her adopted home of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Some of her favorite past roles have included Eponine in Les Miserables, Maria in The Sound of Music, Lizzie Curry in 110 in the Shade, and Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, for which she won the BroadwayWorld (Boston) Award for Best Actress in a Musical and a Cape Cod Times Favorite Performance of 2015. Mimi was also honored to be selected to sing for Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil (composers of Les Mis, Miss Saigon, etc) at a sold-out performance of their musical repertoire during their 2017 artistic residency at the University of Virginia. She is an alum of Michael Howard Studios’ Summer Acting Conservatory and IES Abroad’s Theatre Studies Program in London, England, where she worked as the Creative Engagement Intern at Arcola Theatre, one of the city’s leading off-West End companies. Mimi is passionate about telling important stories and working with young actors as they discover their unique perspectives and voices! She firmly believes in BAA’s mission to educate young performers and to equip them with a fundamental understanding of the entertainment industry, as both artists and as CEO’s of their personal brand and business.
