Laura Renee Mehl (she/they) is an actor, singer, dancer, and teacher. They received their masters in musical theatre performance from New York University. In their free time, Laura works as a private voice instructor and enjoys traveling. They are also a faculty member teaching Voice Production and Speech at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. Off Broadway: The Office, A Musical Parody! Laura’s Coaching Philosophy

I believe that because of the beautiful, distinctive nature of the human voice, each person deserves the opportunity to find how their unique voice functions at its optimum level. Finding clarity, freedom and a reliable technique is what allows each student to tap into their true artistic potential. Once we work together to find your voice’s best fit, we can then delve even deeper to open up doors you might not have ever imagined being available! My goal is to create functional freedom for you – emotionally and physically – by creating a safe space to learn, work, and even play.
