Mean Girls-themed Dance Master Class!

We are thrilled to welcome to the BAA faculty Broadway’s Patrick Garr, who will get you moving to the tunes of Mean Girls, in this dance Master Class!

Get to live from head to toe in the world of the Plastics and the family at North Shore High. During this Master Class, participants will learn and perform a selection of choreography from the Broadway production of Mean Girls.


ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Patrick is a New York-based dancer, singer, actor, choreographer and dance teacher currently performing in Mean Girls on Broadway. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Theatre, Musical Theatre Certificate, and a minor in Dance. Patrick is a proud Contemporary Dance alum of the School for the Creative and Performing Arts and the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts. Patrick has trained extensively with Giordano Dance Chicago on scholarship, iTheatrics (NYC), Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey, and more. His professional credits include: Jerome Robbins Broadway, Fiddler on the Roof (The MUNY), Mary Poppins (The Lexington Theatre Company), Hello, Dolly!, Aida, Billy Elliot, Big Fish (Music Theatre Wichita). Patrick is on faculty with Groove National Dance Competition, Varsity All Star Dance Competition, and Man In Motion NYC. As a choreographer, Patrick’s credits include: Addams Family, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and selections from Matilda,Chicago, PippinHe is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. One Day Master Classes are open to students ages 10-25, and class size is typically limited to 18 participants to ensure that each student receives personal attention from our special guest instructors. Enrollment will be closed two weeks prior to the Master Class date, or when the class becomes full – whichever comes first.
