Let yourself be astonishing this Columbus Day weekend in this Master Class with Tony Nominee, Laura Osnes!
Laura returns to BAA to work with you one-on-one on your preferred musical theatre audition piece. She’ll assist in helping you raise your Song Interpretation skills to new levels and discovering the unique story you can tell. Participants of this Master Class will work one-on-one with Laura by performing selected audition cuts and receiving direct feedback and suggestions.
About the instructor:
Laura Osnes is a two-time Tony® Award nominee for her performances as a Leading Actress in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Ella) and Bonnie & Clyde (Bonnie). Most recently, Laura starred as Maggie in Lifetime’s original film In the Key of Love. Additional Broadway credits include: Bandstand (Julia Trojan), Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt), South Pacific (Nellie Forbush), and Grease (Sandy). Off-Broadway credits include The Threepenny Opera (Polly Peachum) and Carousel (Chicago’s Lyric Opera House). Other NYC performances include Pipe Dream (Encores!) and Sound of Music (benefit concert at Carnegie Hall). TV Credits Include Grease: You’re the One That I Want, Pzazz 101, and The Miraculous Year.
One Day Master Classes are open to students ages 10-21, and class size is typically limited to 18 participants to ensure that each student receives personal attention from our special guest instructors. Enrollment will be closed two weeks prior to the Master Class date, or when the class becomes full – whichever comes first.
Your BAA application fee will be waived if you are interested in only attending One Day Master Classes. You will see the waiver option at the end of the Online Application (which you will still need to complete!)
