After last year’s successful live TV production of The Sound of Music with Carrie Underwood, NBC is set to follow up with live versions of Peter Pan and The Music Man this winter while Fox will air a live version of Grease. During this class, students will learn about the particulars of auditioning for televised musicals while receiving individual feedback from Karyn Casl of Telsey + Company Casting (Peter Pan, The Sound of Music, Smash). Students will also participate in a special Q&A session with Laura Osnes, who got her start in Grease on Broadway after winning a televised musical theatre competition and went on to star in Cinderella and Bonnie and Clyde on Broadway.

One Day Master Classes are open to students ages 10-21, and class size is typically limited to 18 participants to ensure that each student receives personal attention from our special guest instructors. Enrollment will be closed two weeks prior to the Master Class date, or when the class becomes full – whichever comes first. Instructors for each class are typically announced 3-4 weeks prior to the class.
