We are awarding ONE full tuition dance scholarship PER Session, for a total of 4 scholarships to BAA Summer Intensives for 2015! These scholarships will specifically be given out to dancers who attend this April 12th audition. Those dancers not awarded a full scholarship will still be considered for admission to the summer programs as a dance major. We are holding these separate auditions for dancers who have a strong interest in musical theatre, partly because we have found that our regular audition requirements sometimes hold back qualified dancers from auditioning (we usually request that you also prepare a song and/or monologue). At this particular round of auditions, dancers auditioning do not prepare anything additional. You will learn two advanced level combinations from BAA’s Dance Director, Jeff Shade. Scholarships and Intensive admission and will be awarded and evaluated based on technique, style, and presentation/showmanship. Scholarships will be announced on our website and Facebook within one week of the audition date!
