(Casting Director / Director / Choreographer / Actor) was the Associate Director of Broadway’s Next Fall (Tony® Award nomination for Best Play, Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Play, Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Best New Play). He most recently directed A Friendship Unhinged, starring Broadway leading ladies Heather Parcells and Diane Phelan, at Chelsea Table + Stage. Joe has worked with The Telsey Office, casting shows such as South Pacific, In The Heights, Dirty Dancing, Rent, Company, and High Fidelity. He was also the Associate Choreographer of Broadway’s South Pacific. His Broadway performance credits include Follies, Ragtime, and A Chorus Line (original production). National Tour performance credits include South Pacific (Associate Choreographer, Dance Captain), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Dance Captain), Ragtime, The Who’s Tommy, On the Town, and West Side Story. Off-Broadway performance credits include Sheba, Beggar’s Holiday, Up Against It, and Hurry Hollywood. Regional performance credits include South Pacific, Charlie Brown, Baby, Forever Plaid, and Romeo and Juliet. Associate/assistant choreography credits include South Pacific (2008 Tony® Award nomination), Leading Ladies, and South Pacific (NC Theatre). Assistant choreography TV credits include The Friar’s Club Roast of Chevy Chase. Joe has taught at CAP 21, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, The Actor’s Connection, SUNY Geneseo, and the University of Hawaii. He is also a nationally certified yoga instructor.
