11:00 am Commuter Drop Off- Ripley Grier Studios, 520 8th Avenue (between 36th St. and 37th St.)
Commuting students and parents of commuting students: Kindly plan to drop off students on the 17th floor of the Ripley Grier Studios! Please do not arrive more than 10-15 minutes early. BAA reps will be available to guide you from the lobby area to the 17th floor on Day One in order to help you get familiar with the building. Every other day, students should report directly to the 17th floor.
10:30am - 10:45am Participants staying at BAA chaperoned hotels meet in the Hotel Lobby for a brief 10 to 15 minute Chaperone check in process and hotel orientation
(It is recommended to attend the Parent Orientation at Ripley Grier Studios as well.)

Voice Majors 16-32 Bars and/or 1-2 minute Monologues
Please prepare ONE or TWO contrasting 16-32 bar pieces (e.g. Up-tempo/ballad, legit/belt) Be sure to bring your sheet music in the proper key! (In addition, singers may prepare one optional 1-2 minute monologue)
Acting Majors 1-2 Monologues and 16 bars
Please prepare ONE or TWO brief contrasting monologues and a short song. Your selections should be approximately one - two minutes each. (In addition, actors may prepare an optional 16-32 bar song) If you only have one monologue, we may give you a new monologue or commercial to “Cold Read”

* Parents please note that all students must remain at Ripley Grier Studios. BAA Staff will escort students directly to the evening's Broadway Show. Parents holding Broadway show tickets to the same show should meet us at the theater's lobby.

Broadway Show: Anastasia
This dazzling new musical transports the audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past while finding a place for herself in the rapidly changing world of a new century.. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.
The stage adaptation of the beloved 1997 animated film arrives on Broadway featuring a score by Tony® Award winners Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) and Stephen Flaherty (music), book written by Tony® Award winner Terrence McNally, and directed by Tony® Award winner Darko Tresnjak.
After the show Chaperones escort BAA hotel participants back to BAA chaperoned hotels
Commuter sign out/pick up at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre

(Show running time is listed on the respective show website, estimate a 10:00pm pickup, allowing time for a possible cast talk back)
With the exception of BAA Hotel Students being chaperoned back by the Hotel Chaperone, all parents or an adult designated on the Sign Out paperwork MUST sign out their students at the theater with a BAA Staff Member.
